New Year is coming!

Happy New Year
Happy New Year

May we all have a vision now and then
Of a world where every neighbour is a friend
Happy New Year
Happy New Year
May we all have our hopes or will to try
If we don't we might as well lay down and die
You and I

So this is Xmas...

"And so this is Christmas  for weak and for strong, for rich and the poor ones...the world is so wrong..."

Home for Christmas...

So this is Christmas
And what have you done
Another year over
And a new one just began

And so this is Christmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear ones
The old and the young...

Ordinary day

"This is just an ordinary day...wipe the insecurities away..." etc. This words are taken by a song which has always inspired me years after years. There's something so positive in each sound and phrase that makes me want to move on and be grateful to anything that surrounds me. Well, yeah...this is just an ordinary day when I shot some random pictures after long hours of lessons. I had to take my camera with me to photograph a school project so I used it after school for myself as well. It was a decision of the moment so...why not?

Antique is the new Cool!

After our visit in Kosovo, the main plan was getting home and getting ready for the new week but...then, there's my dad always surprising me with his extraordinary ideas! He expressed his wish to visit the capital city of another country now: Skopje, Macedonia. He knew that in the last four years Skopje has changed a lot by the new monuments, buildings, bridges and historical figures giving the city a classical appeal. I was the first one who was super happy to go even though I was very tired of those three days of activity.

Celebration for a Nation!

Every 28th and 29th of November, we Albanians celebrate the independence day and the Liberation day by the Nazi Germany forces. In sum, we take 2 days off thanks to these two important dates. This year I decided to visit Kosovo for the first time in my life (I'm not even proud to say that) just to see how do they celebrate Independence day of our country. All in all we are one big nation.
I have to say that the number of cars driving from Kosovo to Albania was huge.

Found shelter.

Where to start...You may ask yourselves why am I choosing "shelter" as the main word for this post. I guess it's because it sounds so delicate but warm enough to keep me safe. It's the only word that perfectly describes my latest days. It's amazing when you get to know that your life has just started to follow the way you had been dreaming for ages. It's so nice when at the end of a fulfilled day, you notice your feet hurt to death, your batteries are low but your eyes sparkling from an inner joy. This is how my days are passing everyday. I wake up early every morning with a terrible desire to stay in bed and never wanting to start the day but then after the hours pass I think to myself how stupid I was that morning for wanting such thing! I mean...how could've I missed it?! It's all about the lessons I'm taking at school everyday. I always find myself interested at those stuff I have to get through...it is all about Art, drawing, creating and everything. If home is where my family is, this new life containing all these subjects is my new warm shelter.

Kurisu in Tripland

She drank from a bottle called DRINK ME
And she grew so tall,
She ate from a plate called TASTE ME
And down she shrank so small.
And so she changed while other folks
Never tried nothin' at all.

Sunny fall.

Hey there everyone! What do you think of this mild autumn? Amazing isn't it? It feels like it's a second spring and I can surely admit that my days are always getting exciting just because of this reason. This is my favorite season and I love it the most when it's sunny and the air cold enough to get into long sleeve shirts and everything. These are some random pictures of these days when I usually wake up in a good mood hoping my day won't change in minute. I still don't know how to describe this outfit but I love the combination of the dark shirts and midi skirts.

The Corpse Bride

Ladies and Gentleman, I represent you the well known character: Emily, the corpse bride!
It's clear how much I love the Tim Burton's movies! Every October I choose to watch his movies almost every nights before Halloween knocks on my door. There's something magic mixed with something crazy about those pictures which create together one something wonderful! Once, I chose the look of Sally but this year I had another one in my mind. I know  there are many girls who love to look like Emily but she was in my list for ages. Finally, the day I couldn't wait to come was there and I had all the right essentials to become a beautiful blue corpse.

"My Pumpkin King"

One of the best days of the year has finally come! It's 31st of October, the day when we're supposed to terrify the evil spirits away by our scary look. This is Halloween, everybody make a scream!
Halloween it's known for it's symbol which stands for an orange pumpkin. October is the month where you can see pumpkins everywhere at the stores. Actually there's a legend why the pumpkin stands as a symbol nowadays but that's a long story. I think everyone has heard of "Jack-O-Lanterns" before. If not, then google it! So as the traditions want it, I tried to crave a pumpkin my own way!

Halloween is a lifestyle, not a holiday!

Yeap! A lifestyle, not a holiday!
Here's the little story you're about to be told. Since I was a child, I always used to find myself watching horror movies, scary cartoons or even thrillers. I've always been so excited to watch them even though I couldn't sleep at night. I can tell that sometimes I used to choose the antagonist of the story which stands for the "bad guy" as the most interesting  character. Then, one day I heard about Halloween and all it's traditions and my life changed forever!

We don't need no education!

I still can't believe school is starting! For the first time in my life I'm feeling so excited about it and it's all because of the studies I'm going to take. I'm becoming an Art & Design student and this says it all...
So, one of these days I took some pictures in which the main theme was the school uniform. I have never wore a school uniform actually but I kind of created a little combination in my mind which maybe gives the view of a rebel student. This "school uniform" may look a little bit exaggerated ...but hey, I was only taking pictures!

Queen of the Highway!

These photos belong to the far 2013s !
It seemed like me and my best friend were having that "rock'n'roll" kind of sensation during our sleepover night. We spent those hours dressing up, helping each other to do the make up, taking pictures and everything!

Ilyricum Sacrum

Can you read the happiness written on my face? This weekend I've had the most exciting journey discovering natural wonders of my country. I decided to go hiking with a group of climbers whom I've visited the historical "Via Egnatia" which is not very far from my hometown. But this time we had to drive more kilometers to get into some other cultural stations.  I was a little upset about the weather because it wasn't sunny at all and it started raining a little bit occasionally. But it couldn't make us give up! Like they said, the climbers never give it up!

Come as U R !

All these days of the never-ending holiday, I've been getting a little nostalgic about the near past. Many times I have found myself scrolling down the archives of my photographs. There I found this lovely album. Remember when I once wrote about those "early morning photoshooting" pictures? Yep, that's another album of those days...I still think nowadays that 5 o'clock in the morning is the most perfect time to take pictures. Look at that relaxing sun light which gets to heal your eyes!

"The Sacrament of love"

Hello citadel, we met again! It's obvious my hometown doesn't offer many interesting places to take pictures. Truth be told, I've been getting a little bored these days just because I haven't had any productive thing to do. I just wake up late and have that creepy desire to do something new! Then I end up hanging out with my girls and taking pictures inside the walls of the citadel again and again.
Inside the citadel there's an old Orthodox church called "Saint Mary" in which I am baptized when I was two years old. It is very ancient and dark and beautiful. So, why not to try to take pictures inside of it?

Cheers darlin'

You know it's time for a little party when you pick up a dress from your closet. Maybe, each one of you may think that I'm sort of a "tomboy" when dressing up and I can assure you that I actually am...well, most of the time! But it's not that difficult either to get a little "girly" so just don't get confused! I like wearing dresses on special events or parties, mostly. I always try to choose beautiful patterns or colors which fit a lot with my taste. This dress is one of the cutest ones I have. I fancy every kind of outfit which contains striped patterns. I paired the dress with some darker elements to make it less sweet.

Angels walking among us...

This time, I wanted to represent something "ancient" and different. I adore everything that is old, starting from the buildings to the bricks, clothes, antique items or jewelries and most of all: old pictures which are taken with traditional film cameras. So, the best place to take the photographs this time was the castle of my hometown, Elbasan. This castle is a 15th-century fortress located in the center of the city which carries many histories within. It's true that many people, especially teenagers like taking pictures inside of these walls but as I said at the beginning, my purpose was to bring something different and I really hope you will enjoy it!

In bloom...

Just another post reminiscing joyful summer days. It felt like I was in touch with nature and it's four elements. I guess you can tell that this kind of environment enables my encounter with them.

The foreboding sense of impending happiness...

I believe that each one of has had the chance to get drown in happiness even for no reason once in a lifetime! Is that kind of feeling you get when you truly believe that everything is going just fine. You stop thinking about bad stuff or sad stories and start accepting your life the way it comes because there's always a reason why things happen the way they happen or why you meet people everyday! Let the spring blow inside your heart no matter what season it really is...I was having exactly this kind of sensation. So I woke up, tried to find the most colorful clothes I had taken for vacations and also chose the most colorful corner of the town because I got that "foreboding sense of impending happiness"...

U grow me like an Evergreen

These photographs are taken last summer when I and my best friend used to wake up at 5' o clock in the morning just for photoshooting! Yeap, so damn early and all the reasons were two good ones :
 1) The early morning light is the best light to photograph and 2) The city is so calm because there's no crowd of people walking everywhere, everybody is sleeping or just a few people are going to work. So we wouldn't need to feel ashamed by posing in front of the camera.

Anyway, that part of waking up it was a little hard for me as long as I am a sleepyhead but for Photography and Art I would sacrifice anything...even sleep!

Mon meilleur voyage...

Mon meilleur voyage which means: My best trip! It started from Albania to Belgium, Nederlands, Germany and the cherry above the cake was France! Yeap, I had the chance to visit one of the most beautiful and attractive cities of the world which everyone dreams about: Paris! I was totally amazed by everything, starting from the old buildings, the gothic architecture which is my favorite, it's culture , the wonderful stories hidden behind each monument and everything! It's amazing how much I had to walk that day just to see the mos popular monuments and never get tired or bored because each street was adorable and I really could enjoy every step!

Here are some pictures of this little piece of heaven fallen on earth that impressed me a lot.

                Oh-la -laa...Paris!

More psychedelic yuppie flu...

Inspired by the psychedelic culture, that day decided to show more "respect" for Summer by wearing more colors than usually.

All of the colors I see my love, everytime I see you...

Every Summer I like to take vacations in places where the weather is cooler than anywhere else...that's all because I really hate the hot weather! There's a little town in Albania called Pogradec where the weather is so peaceful for my state of mind. I go there every summer so I can really relax myself by doing whatever I want especially photographing! There is also an old alley which is my favorite street. Since my parents bought me a professional camera I always try to find attractive places to take photos. Here are the photos I took one day in that alley in front of a colorful old door.No longer than yesterday I realized that it was the house of a good painter who still lives in that town.
I was wearing jeans overalls for the first time this summer thanks to the fresh weather.

Those were the reasons and that was New York...

This post is totally a product of a vintage dressing-style inspiration. Actually, I adore anything which belongs to an old period of time in the past especially the original ones which come without intrusions into. I love the way people dressed in the old and glorious years of 60s, 70s or 80s. I'm also totally in love with the old New York city and the stories which are hold in all those avenues full of lights, rock n' roll and laughter.
These pictures are taken in a random birthday party where I tried to look a little "Vintage" even though it wasn't a Retro party. Anyway, when I came home and saw the pictures the first thing that came through my mind was a lovely song of Leonard Cohen - "Chelsea Hotel" and voilà! I just had a quick inspiring moment! I chose some nice filters for the photographs so they can also look old like they were taken with a polaroid or something! So, let's say I was pretending to give the impression of a New York baby!

Circle of fear

Hello, strangers or known people or friends or family, whoever you are!Welcome to my blog! As you can see, I finally decided to create a web page about myself. Well, truth is that many friends of mine have recommended me to open a blog for ages but to be honest I've always been lazy to deal with it. But now that I'm on holidays and have nothing better to do I said to myself "why not?!" So here I am...
* Firstly let me introduce : My real name is Kristiana Bella. I'm 19 from Elbasan, Albania and I can't wait to move to Tirana where I'm going to continue my studies as an Art & Design student. I love all the forms of art! I love painting especially animes and I kind of consider myself a passionate photographer! I also have a passion for fashion but I don't really follow the latest trends...I think I have my own unique style that you are going to explore very soon.
* What about the "Circle of Kurisu" ...well that's a long story. Since I was little I was a big fan of animes and japanese culture so I found what was my name in that language. There it was...Kurisu! Cute isn't it? Since that time I kept it as my second name or nickname...actually many friends call me like that and I get a little spoiled. lol
As for the "circle" is kind of a personal story. I'm inspired by the title of "HIM" song "Circle of fear"

.

But now it's my circle and inside of this circle I'm going to show you little wonders of my mind, my soul, my heart and my entire world.
* I won't promise you I will be active on posting but I'll try not to leave it behind!

Hope you like my circle! :)
                                                                                                                                            Kurisu
